MUSIC: intro to underground hip hop

I am pretty picky when it comes to hip hop. I don’t listen to it often, so I make sure that when I do its awesome. Big fan of laid back beats and flowing lyrics, with a bit of an old school feel. I picked a few of my favorite tracks to introduce those who are interested to some solid underground hip hop:

Song: 93 ’til Infinity

Artist: J-Live
Album: The Best Part
Song: Them That’s Not
Year: 2001

Artist: Little Brother
Album: The Listening
Song: The Way You Do It
Year: 2003

Artist: Soul Position
Album: 8 Million Stories
Song: No Excuse For Lovin
Year: 2003

Artist: Gang Starr
Album: Moment Of Truth
Song: Work
Year: 1998
